Provision of Replacement Firewall for MOD Civilian Personnel Application Suite Infrastructure

Tender description

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) were inviting bids for the provision of a contract to supply infrastructure equipment for boundary protection with appropriate software for their remedial maintenance project. MOD may be referred to as the ''Authority'' hereafter. Suppliers were invited to provide prices for the infrastructure equipment and software necessary to deliver Phase 1 of the Authority's remedial maintenance project. Phase 1 includes the provision of the following: Secure Boundary Protection System for Civ Pers Production Platform; Secure Boundary Protection System for Civ Pers Disaster Recovery Platform (in normal use as Dev / Test Environment) and; Secure Boundary Protection System Connectivity. The Authority required a one (1) year warranty for all of the equipment.
