Provision & Installation of AV Equipment

Tender description

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) were inviting bids for the Provision & Installation of AV Equipment at RAF Leeming. MOD may be referred to as the ''Authority'' hereafter. The primary role of RAF Leeming is to train for, deliver and support UK and expeditionary air operations. RAF Leeming is home to the No. 100 Squadron which incorporates the Navigator Training Unit (NTU), the Joint Forward Air Controller Training Standards Unit (JFACTSU), 90 Signals Unit (SU) and the Northumbrian University Air Squadron (NUAS). The JFACTSU presentation suites are old and out of date, this equipment requires updating to meet present day information technology (IT) standards. The updated equipment will enable the practical use of lectures for students, staff training and visitors within the JFACTSU classrooms in buildings 51 and 57. Within building fifty one (51) there are two (2) training rooms; 3 & 16. Within building fifty seven (57) there is one (1) training room; 11. Potential Providers were requested to provide pricing for the provision & installation of 3 rooms.
