THIS RELATES TO A PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE. THIS IS NOT AT THIS STAGE A CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY. Prior Information Notice: Mental Health, Autism and Dementia Services in Somerset – Pre-Tender/ Provider Information Event Somerset County Council (SCC) is intending to commissioning services in relation to Mental Health, Autism and Dementia in 2017. The aim is to change the way we currently work to ensure that services in Somerset are modern, transformative and fit for the future. Organisations are invited to attend a Provider Information Event in order receive information regarding SCCs intentions in relation to the commissioning and tendering activity and the timescales involved. Services covered will include Community based preventative and enablement support services and also Support at Home services. SCC will provide an overview of the detail taken from the Service Specifications of these services and allow organisations the opportunity to ask questions regarding the content. In addition, SCC will outline any processes and procedures that will need to be followed in order to express an interest and tender for these services. A full agenda will be available on registration for the event (see below for registration details). Due to the venue size, we ask that no more than two representatives attend from each organisation. Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in any potential future formal procurement. Commercial confidentiality will be respected. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by the Council to undertake a procurement procedure.
