Summary of the work Ensure Information Assurance Activities and Artefacts needed for the Main Gate Business Cases (MGBCs) are in place on time. Also conduct Information Assurance activities required to support Application Development taking place within the timeframe of this contract. Specialist role Quality assurance analyst Expected Contract Length 92 Days over 11 months Latest start date 03/04/2017 Maximum Day Rate Up to a maximum £450 will be paid per day to the organisation. Early Market Engagement The Project is procuring a Nuclear Emergency Radiological Information and Monitoring Network (NERIMNET) together with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy as a replacement Information Management System for existing capabilities. Assessment of the market has enabled the capability to be procured in four procurements: (1) Application Development, (2) Application Management & Support, (3) Application Hosting and (4) Network Connectivity. Who Speclialist Work With NERIMNET Project Manager (ISS Develop Networks Acquisition), Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Project Team and other key stakeholders in Corsham, Northwood & London What Specialists Work On Ensure Information Assurance Activities and Artefacts needed for the Main Gate Business Cases (MGBCs) are in place on time. Also conduct Information Assurance activities required to support Application Development within the timeframe of this contract. Activities include: • Liaise between MOD and BEIS Accreditors • Co-ordinate monthly Security Working Group • Providing security guidance and verifying direction with MOD Accreditor • Co-ordinate and/or conduct Technical Threat & Business Impact Assessments. • Provide bid evaluation input / SME in negotiations. • Create Security plans for activities during the procurements and deliveries. • Report weekly to PM and attend OGD project meetings. Skills & Experience • Skills in good communication and stakeholder management - 13% • Experience of Information Assurance Management in association with agile development projects - 19% • Experience and understanding of agile application development projects - 13% • Experience of working across government departments - 18% • Experience of supplier bid evaluation and contract negotiation - 10% • The individual shall be a CESG qualified CESG Listed Adviser Scheme (CLAS) Consultant – 23% Nice to Haves Experience in MOD ISS Information Assurance processes - 4% Work Location Building 405, Corsham, Wiltshire and London Whitehall Working Arrangments 2 - 3 days per week (variable) Security Clearance Due to the security classification of the work involved we require individuals to hold valid SC clearance. Additional T&Cs No home working and no company / personal laptops to be used on-site. The CLAS scheme referred to in the last essential criteria no longer exists so nobody can actually meet this criteria. How will this issue this be factored into the procurement? CESG Listed Adviser Scheme (CLAS) has been replaced by CESG Certified Professional (CCP) so this will be accepted as meeting the requirement instead. 2.
