Tender description

NHS South Cheshire CCG and NHS Vale Royal CCG have conducted a procurement process in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 for a health care service. The review and re-commissioning of Community Services was an integral element of the Connecting Care Strategy, and is regarded as the catalyst for care services across the local health economy to be delivered in a more integrated way — in order to secure the needs of service users and improve the quality and efficiency of those services. It is the overall plan for the health and social care footprint across the CCGs' geographical area, with local provision at its heart. The Strategy is aligned with the NHS' 5 Year Forward View, published in October 2014. The CCGs will expect the future delivery of community services to involve collaborative working amongst a number of providers, enhancing local staffing opportunities and using local health infrastructure, regardless of legal and organisational form. Most Capable Provider Process conducted under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 as a Part B service. This is a 5 year contract, from 1.10.2016.
