Tender description

NHS Blackburn with Darwen CCG would like to tender for a Community based non-obstetric ultrasound service. The aim of the service is to provide a high quality person-centred non-obstetric ultrasound service for GP registered patients within Blackburn with Darwen at a locality level. To ensure a more seamless provision, to reduce duplication of scanning, consistency of IT and image sharing systems and to integrate a single service offer which is accessible to GP Practices in each locality. The Commissioner envisages a Prime Provider model but if bidders want to subcontract. This is acceptable provided the IM&T systems are able to communicate/share all patient information.
