Tender description

Islington Council is seeking to appoint 1 contractor to a single supplier framework agreement. Contracts based on the framework agreement shall follow the terms of the framework agreement including the call-off procedure. The arrangement will be monitored against a range of outcome based indicators which the provider will be expected to achieve. The details of these indicators will be included within the contract specification and the successful organisation will need to demonstrate they have the capability and capacity to meet these requirements. The services will be required by Islington Council and other participating organisations who may access the framework agreement. Those organisations are: City of London Corporation and London Borough of Waltham Forest. The requirement to provide all aspects of tree surgery works, including the pruning, felling and planting of trees. Term of the Framework Agreement The term of the framework agreement will run for a period of 48 months from the estimated start date of 1.7.2017. Other participating authorities may choose to opt into the framework during the term of the 48 month depending on when their existing contracts expire. The duration of the overall call-off contracts will range from a maximum of 84 months (for a contract entered into at the start of the framework agreement) to a minimum of 36 months (for a contract entered into in the 4th and final year of the framework agreement, so that all call-off contracts will have a co-terminus end date and expire at the same time on 30.6.2024).
