Tender description

The Environment Agency has a requirement for the supply of between 15 and 30 remote control boats to allow the deployment of Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) sensors for river flow measurement and survey activities. This contract will be in two phases; phase 1 will be for the design and prototype of the remote control boat. Phase 2 will be for the supply of the boats. We wish to find a supplier to perform the design, testing / prototype, and eventual manufacture of remote control boats. The procurement will be run in 2 phases, the first being the design and completion of a prototype and second, being the manufacture and support of the final product. The contract will serve other Defra organisations.
