Who Speclialist Work With The Business Analyst works with the GDT Senior Leadership Team, their direct reports, team leads, staff and key customers representatives What Specialists Work On Working with senior stakeholders to optimise GDT performance as part of a Business Change Programme. Deliverables include: • DevOps transformation to deliver benefits of 10% less cost of delivery and LEAN processes • Running ISO accreditation transformation activity supporting the project managers/Technical Leads to deliver ITSM tooling and ITIL/CSI in support of the GDT transformation plan • Assisting transformation of Quality Assurance & performance management into the delivery cycle Policy deployment will be via objective goals and performance measures; hence gaps identified and potential business solutions validated. Benefits are realised through facilitated changes to governance, operating models and business processes. Where the Work Takes Place FCO Services locations: Hanslope Park (Milton Keynes) and Westminster (London) Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements The individual will manage their own time to deliver the services as they see fit; however it is anticipated that meetings and workshops will require attendance on site up to 60% of the working week Work Location FCO Services locations: Hanslope Park (Milton Keynes) and Westminster (London) Security Clearance Minimum SC Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience • Leads implementation of business change in HMG IT services to create demonstrable business benefits – minimum 10 years’ experience • Management of senior stakeholders/relationships • Highly effective at facilitation and conflict resolution • Business process re-engineering with a variety of ITSM providers • Creates HPWT cultures using ITIL/CSI, DevOps, ISO accreditation Nice to Haves • More than 5 years’ experience of managing successful programmes • More than 10 years’ experience of creating efficient and effective management systems using EFQM and accreditation to ISO standards • More than 5 years’ experience in the application of ITIL and CSI to create substantial improvements to secure ITSM in HMG • Analytical thinking with problem solving skills: mastery of Lean, CI, DMAIC, statistical process control through many years practical experience • TOC and CCPM practitioner • Able to demonstrate the use of a rigorous method and framework for business transformation, providing maturity models to baseline enable and demonstrate culture change • Facilitates effective workshops with Senior Leadership Teams; creates accountability for action and follow through • Value architect adept in using results chain thinking and proprietary benefits realisation solutions e.g. Realisor to deliver performance improvement • Identifies leading indicators of performance to drive strategic goals e.g. PDM / X-matrix • Expertise in using digital technologies to drive the innovation agenda of senior stakeholders in government through collaboration with third party suppliers and in particular SME • Excellent communication skills • Chartered engineer with a Degree in Process Engineering • Able to relate to the wider FCO Services business e.g. MCILT No. of Specialists to Evaluate 5 Cultural Fit Criteria • Demonstrate how your positive and motivational attitude to teamwork will contribute to the successful delivery of improvement • Demonstrate how you will work independently in high pressured environment • Demonstrate how you will build and maintain positive relationships with senior stakeholders • Demonstrate how you will apply your skill in promoting the need for well-defined and articulated strategic business requirements • Demonstrate how you will manage and mediate conflicts in priorities / requirements Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range £520.00 exl. vat
