Tender description

Public Health England (PHE) is looking to purchase a uHPLC system, to replace two current aged HPLC systems, which are used for the therapeutic monitoring of existing anti-fungal drugs in patients. It is intended that for service, support and for the supply of bespoke consumables (if applicable) the agreement will continue for the life time of the equipment or until PHE re-tenders the requirement. We expect to award a contract for a period of 3 years with 2 possible extensions of 12 months each (3+1+1). At the present time it is intended that one machine will be purchased from this agreement, however it is possible that further instruments will be required over this contract period. The current requirement is for the Public Health England site at Bristol: Mycology Reference Laboratory, Myrtle Rd, Kingsdown, Bristol.
