London Borough of Tower Hamlets would like to invite organisations who are interested in delivering in a Market Engagement event. The aim of the event is to explore feasibility of establishing a framework contract for the supply of specific nicotine replacement products (NRT). The framework is proposed as collaborative exercise between the LB Tower Hamlets and a number of other London councils. The framework contract would provide NRT products to the smoking cessation service providers delivering services under contract to the councils. These service providers may include community pharmacy, GP practices, voluntary sector providers and specialist stop smoking services. We would like also to explore the feasibility to include in the framework contract the provision of non-prescription nicotine replacement products direct to local residents as part of a centralised internet service, supplied either directly via post to residents or via a centralised service. This PIN does not formally signify the beginning of any procurement and does not constitute a commitment by London Borough of Tower Hamlets to undertake any procurement exercise. In the event that the London Borough of Tower Hamlets decides to formally commence procurement pursuant to this PIN a separate Contract Notice will be issued.
