Tender description

Quotations are invited on behalf of Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (“The Authority”), for the installation and connection of eighteen (18) Redetec units in rack enclosures and equipment cabinets in a number of areas across the site. The Redetec units are to be installed across the site to protect IT systems. As part of the project the units, once installed, are to be connected to the existing local fire alarm system. The areas of the site where the units are to be installed are covered by various fire alarm systems; these include ADT, Gent and Eaton Cooper (including the graphics system). The successful contractor must be able to provide specific training and or competency certification for all staff working on the above systems. The Redetec units are to be connected to the local fire alarm system ensuring the guidance contained in the information and technical specification sheets provided by Redetec are followed. The guidance contained within BS 5839 and HTM 0503 Part B must also be followed. Keywords: suppression, Redetec
