Independent Benchmark Assessment of Mobile Coverage and Network Performance in Worcestershire

Tender description

Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (WLEP) wishes to appoint a single provider/supplier to undertake an independent benchmark assessment of mobile coverage and network performance in Worcestershire, across the key mobile networks, for both voice and data across 2G, 3G, 4G and other technologies. The provider/supplier will be required to provide a report and list of issues and recommendations to inform constructive dialogue with the Mobile Network Operators and other similar organisations, for the purpose of improving mobile performance and the user experience across Worcestershire as well as informing an initial review on 5G plans in the county. The provider/supplier may also have the opportunity to be asked to support additional paid work within the contract, such as attending/supporting additional meetings with operators, further follow up assessments/analysis at a later date; assisting in the further development of an action plan to design and build the right 5G network for the county.
