Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley (‘the Council’) is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and skilled organisations for the provision of a 0-4 years Health Visiting (incorporating Family Nurse Partnership) Service to provide leadership, co-ordination and delivery of the Healthy Child Programme in the borough. This service will be an essential part of children's services in Bromley, improving health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people, identifying additional needs early on, building resilience and reducing health inequalities by providing effective universal and targeted interventions for children and their parents. The tender opportunity will be run electronically through the London Tenders Portal and suppliers will need to register their company with the portal as soon as possible (if they have not already done so) at www.londontenders.org in order to participate. The heart of the service will be an early intervention and prevention programme to be offered to every prospective family with children and young people between 0-4 years in the borough to support the health, well-being and development of babies and children using evidence based tools, including the Common Assessment Framework to identify levels of need. Those requiring more help will receive additional, evidence- based and person-centred support appropriate to those needs by the service itself or in partnership with other services. The service should be accessible to all children under 5 years old and their families, including those with disabilities. The Service will lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and will work in partnership with a wide range of services detailed in the Tender Documents. The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) will deliver the requirements for the FNP programme as set out in the FNP sub-licensing Agreement for Providers and the FNP Management Manual.
