Brent Council is seeking to engage with the market in preparation of the upcoming procurement and would like to invite you to a market engagement/information event: Meeting Details: Title: Future Local Authority delivery model for Youth Provision in Brent– Market Engagement Date: Monday 20.2.2017 Time: 10:30 - 13:30. 10:30 Arrival and registration 11:00 - 13:00 Main Event wrap up/lose 13:00 to 13:30. Location: Roundwood Youth Centre, 49 Longstone Avenue, Harlesden, London, NW10 3UN. To express your interest in to this event can you please register on the portal or via email to martin.trim@harrow.gov.uk The Council has set out a vision for future targeted youth provision is based on needs, outcomes and partnership working. The vision combines: Outreach and detached work in areas of Brent with greatest need / Targeted Youth work programmes for those identified as vulnerable and at risk/ Development of a number of access points in the borough where targeted provision is delivered / Developing strong partnership working with the voluntary and community sector (VCS), schools and other partners to enhance the Youth Offer. Target groups: Young People whose attendance and behaviour issues have put them at risk of being excluded from mainstream school or who have been excluded, at risk of not being in education,employment or training at 16 or 18, including young parents and young carers; engaging in risky behaviours such as sexual risk taking/CSE, substance misuse,gang-affected and offending, that have SEND, who are Looked After Children/Care Leavers,at risk of becoming or who are homeless.
