Tender description

The London Borough of Barnet (LBB) wishes to commission Day Opportunity services for working age Service Users (SU) aged 18 and above. The LBB is looking to set up an Approved List of suppliers that can demonstrate they are able to improve outcomes for SUs through Day Opportunity services through an innovative and flexible approach, striving continuously to improve service delivery and are able to work with local services in an integrated way. The Approved List will be the mechanism for award of contracts to deliver Day Opportunity services. Potential Service Providers are requested to send their expressions of interest to Caroline.Glover@Barnet.gov.uk by 16:00, 24.2.2017. Flexible short-term employment support for people who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and/or autistic spectrum conditions who are currently in employment and need additional support to enable them to retain/return to their employment. Short-term evidence-based employment support to enable people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions in to employment. Short term employment support, based on the Individual Support Model, to support people with mental health conditions in to employment. Support to small groups of people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions. The aim of this service is to support small groups of people to access and autonomously move into mainstream social, leisure, educational activities, employment and other opportunities in the wider community. The aim of the Peer Support Network is to over time to reduce the support provided by the service, as the service users' individual strengths are developed and their local network built. Support to people with disabilities, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and mental health conditions, aged 18 and above. This service will support people to access and autonomously move into mainstream social, leisure, educational activities, employment and other opportunities in the wider community. Support to people who have profound and multiple learning and physical disabilities. The aim of this service is to promote and support people's well-being, goals and aspirations in every day community life with the view of sustaining choice, control, independence. The service will support individuals to improve or maintain their current level of independence whilst maintaining social friendships, peer group support and social networks.
