CTP767 - Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Framework

Tender description

Derbyshire County Council is currently seeking to implement a Framework of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide for commercial PAT testing requirements. Organisations are sought to provide professional on site testing at Council premises and Derbyshire Constabulary locations throughout the county of Derbyshire. Individual job requirements will vary according to size and value depending on the size and type of establishment but the Council will seek to effectively group requirements to attain best value and for logistical efficiencies. It is estimated that in excess of 70,000 appliances are tested each year across all Council properties. Examples of Council occupied premises includes: Offices, Schools, Homes for Older People, Libraries and Children’s Centres. Derbyshire Constabulary occupied properties include: offices, police stations and workshops. It is envisaged that spend during the period of this framework will be an upper limit of approximately £70k per annum, based on an initial period of 2 years and two potential extensions of 12 months, although the Council does not commit to any value of spend during the duration of the contract.
