Collection, transport and disposal of hospital waste

Tender description

Non-Clinical Waste Management Service to include collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of non-clinical waste streams from premises owned or occupied by The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Bidders are invited to attend a Supplier Information Day on 17.2.2017. The event will consist of a tour of the waste facilities at the Trust's 3 main acute sites by the Trust's Waste Officer and the Assistant Supplies Manager (Estates) and will consist of a 45 minute tour and 15 minutes Q&A. Please refer to the link below for directions and parking information for the above sites http://www.newcastle-hospitals.org.uk/hospitals/index.aspx 30 Minutes has been allowed for travelling between Trust sites, please be advised that bidders are responsible for their own transport; public parking is available at each site but bidders are recommended to use the Claremont Road car park when visiting the RVI site. 9:00 Centre for Ageing and Vitality (meet at entrance). 10:30 Royal Victoria Infirmary (New Victoria Wing reception). 12:00 Freeman Hospital (main reception).
