Tender description

City of York Council provides on street parking, which provides both cash and cashless payment methods. Currently, the council operates both on and off street parking bays in the City. Off street car parks operated by Parking Services have payment for both cash and cashless methods. The Council provides some on street pay and display parking in central areas where currently only cash payments are accepted. It is expected that both on street and off street parking grows to include cashless payment methods across the City during the term of this Contract. The Council's cashless provision has been in place since for a number of years and is an established contract. The Service Provider will deliver a robust implementation which ensures continuity of service during the ending of the current service provider and the new one during the implementation phase.
