Extended Access for Basildon & Brentwood CCG patients. • Commission weekday provision of access to pre-bookable and same day appointments to general practice services in evenings (as a minimum between 6:30pm and 8pm each weekday) -; • Commission weekend provision of access to pre-bookable and same day appointments on both Saturdays (a minimum of 9am to 3pm) and Sundays (a minimum of 10am to 2pm) to meet local population needs; • This includes bank holidays • Provide robust evidence, based on utilisation rates, for the proposed disposition of services throughout the week; and • Appointments can be provided on a hub basis with practices working at scale. Funding is for 3 years and non-recurring - Value of Contract is £1,109,000.00 in 2018/19; £1,686,000 for 2019/20 and funding for 2020/21 has not been announced yet.
