WAV-MC -Ockford Ridge, Godalming: appointment of client CDM adviser and Principal Designer - Site A

Ockford Ridge is a mixed tenure estate in Godalming. Waverley Borough Council has embarked on a redevelopment and refurbishment project on the estate, involving the replacement of 65 existing homes with approximately100 new homes and the refurbishment of more than 70 homes, over the next 4 to 6 years. The next site that the council is planning to progress is site A (141-162 Ockford Ridge, Godalming.) A full consent is now in place with pre-development works due to commence in January 2018, involving the phased disconnection and demolition of the 22 properties on the site, followed by the procurement of a main contractor to build the scheme. An Invitation to tender for disconnection and demolition has been published. A Client (CDM) Advisor is rnow equired to support the council in the discharge of its responsibilities on all aspects of CDM 2015 for the disconnection and demolition works and then to act for the council as Principal Designer.
