Tender description
Swindon Borough Council Traffic Signal Maintenance Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the maintenance of traffic signals within in the Borough of Swindon. Project Description This includes the routine maintenance and inspections of 78 controlled junctions, 26 Pelican Crossings, 59 Puffin Crossings and 54 Toucan Crossings. The provision for a damage repair service, site refurbishments for ageing sites and the purchasing and installation of new equipment Contract Period The contract will be initially for a period of 36 months commencing 1st June 2018 with the option to extend for a further two additional 12 months extensions subject to satisfactory performance and budget availability. Questionnaire / Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 2nd March 2018, 1200 hrs UK Local time by e-mail/ hardcopy to Mike Best only. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
