Tender description
North Ayrshire Council (NAC) is intending to commission suitable providers to deliver a 24 hour Support Service for Adults within North Ayrshire. The service will deliver a flexible, person centred service to adults over the age of 18 who have a learning disability. Some individuals may also have a mental health condition, complex needs and may display behaviours that challenge. The service will support individuals to maintain or improve their independence in all aspects of daily living, personal development, employability and volunteering, staying safe and moving on. The service will operate from Council owned buildings — Castlecraigs Court, Ardrossan. The provider will deliver the service to Service Users who hold their own tenancy agreement with council granted under Scottish Secure Tenancies. The service will be delivered in: Castlecraigs Court. The service comprises 13 individual 1-bedroom dwelling houses, one of which has been adapted to provide accommodation for a Service User with physical disabilities. Each Service User will have their own individual tenancy. The service will be delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year and will be inclusive of sleepovers and waking night services. Delivery of this service contribute to the following North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Priorities: Priority 4 — Prevention and Early Intervention; Priority 5 — Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing. The service will operate from Council owned buildings — Eglinton Place Stevenston and Hawthorn Place Kilwinning. The Provider will deliver the service to Service Users who hold their own tenancy agreement with Council granted under Scottish Secure Tenancies. The service will be delivered in: Eglinton Place. The service will be provided in accommodation within the grounds of Eglinton Place and will accommodate 2 Service Users comprising of one shared tenancy: Hawthorn Place. The service will be provided in accommodation within Hawthorn Place and will accommodate 2 Service Users comprising of one shared tenancy. The service will be delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year and will be inclusive of sleepovers and waking night services. Delivery of this service contribute to the following North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Priorities: Priority 4 — Prevention and Early Intervention.
