Tender description

NGN intend to award a contract to facilitate experimental and destructive hydrogen based testing between methane and hydrogen for the potential conversion of the gas network to 100 % hydrogen. Scope is to utilise the DNV GL site, a site highly experienced in large scale, high volume destructive testing, for the consequence testing with hydrogen at their purpose built facility at Spadeadam. This would include: — host the facility at their testing site at Spadeadam for the consequence testing, — Testing utilising a combination of utilising exist test rigs/areas and building a new facility for the hydrogen, — Provision of DNV GL Specialist experienced test engineers to set up and manage the testing, — Construction and testing consumables.
