Repair and maintenance services of buses

NI Water currently has 3 vehicle and plant workshops from which it maintains its fleet of commercial vehicles and plant. NIW’s workshops partner with other government agencies with respect to fleet maintenance and as such, carries out work on their behalf also. This results in a wide and varied cross-section of fleet types that may need to be repaired under this contract. In respect to vehicles, this range includes (but is not restricted to) cars through LCV and up to a range of HGV including gritters, gulley emptiers, tractor units and tankers. The plant includes, (but is not restricted to), handheld plant such as petrol driven saws and mowers, ride on rollers, tractor mowers and trailers. Please see CfT document for further information. The contract will be split into the provision of mechanical repair and maintenance for LCV, HGV and mobile plant. NI Water intends to award to 2 Economic Operators for each workshop (a prime and secondary contractor).
