Tender description

We are setting up a Dynamic Purchasing System (effectively a supplier list that is compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations) for companies that would like to provide waste and recycling services to social housing providers in the south west of England. Applicants can identify the services that they offer and their geographical coverage. The first tendering opportunity from the DPS will be run by Magna Housing in Q1 2018. The DPS will be in place for 10 years, Advantage SW Members (and members of other consortia) can access the DPS if they wish, but there is no guarantee of the spend through the framework. Interested companies can access the documentation at www.advantageswtenders.co.uk project DN314191 Applicants can identify the types of service that they can provide and the geographical areas they can operate in. Applicants are not required to cover all service and geographical areas. The DPS covers the provision of waste services and associated services including: — full waste management solutions, — equipment hire/haulage/disposal from fixed locations, — equipment hire/haulage/disposal from short-term locations as required by the landlord, — facility for landlord’s operatives to drop-off waste materials at a waste transfer station, — other associated services. Examples of the types of services include: — mixed construction and domestic type waste, — hazardous waste (including asbestos and WEEE), — fly-tipped waste, — green Waste, — copper and other metals, — plus other as required.
