Provision of IT Infrastructure (server) maintenance & support

Tender description

Bath & NE Somerset Council has previously re placed its infrastructure, on a rolling basis, every 5 years. However, we are now planning to run all our assets for 7 years. To be able to support our hardware past the standard 5 years, we require an out of warrantee support solution, as 5 year warranties are purchased with each new server. The contract will initially be for a 12 month period, commencing on 16th February 2018 with the option for 2 extensions, of 12 months each. The individual date for commencement of support & maintenance is detailed against each individual line on the Assets for Contract, Appendix 3
