A Programme Manager is required to deliver the Warrington Western Link Scheme through the Department for Transport Business Case approval process and to manage all aspects of scheme development. The Warrington Western Link scheme consists of a new 3.2km road connecting the A56 Chester Road with A57 Sankey Way which aims to: • Relieve congestion and improve air quality in Warrington Town Centre; • Improve connectivity between north and south Warrington; • Unlock key development land to support the growth aspirations of Warrington means Business and the Warrington Local Plan; • Support the continued growth of Warrington’s economy within the Northern Powerhouse; and • Make Warrington a more attractive place to live.
