Prior Information Notice - Provision of Integrated Carer Services

Tender description

The Council is seeking to enable the integration of carers support through commissioning an integrated service approach through a ‘Hub and Spoke’ model to coordinate support for Carers across the Barnsley borough. The service will provide a single point of contact for Carers and will coordinate and improve access to local support, building and promoting existing community assets. The Provider[s] will be required to take a strong partnership approach building on existing assets within Barnsley and is encouraged to demonstrate creativity, innovation and added value in their service design. The Council aims to explore a range of options around delivery models to enable a greater level of engagement with both adult and young carers in the Borough and provision of more extensive support services. The Council is looking to engage with potential providers to seek a better understanding of the types of services on offer to inform the services to be commissioned.
