Tender description

AHDB wish to procure a single provider for our office and window cleaning requirements (based at Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth), on a daily basis Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a years excluding public holidays. Core requirements are daily, with ad-hoc activities on a weekly/monthly basis. The successful supplier shall be responsible for the efficient performance of the contract and for the good conduct of their employees whenever they carry out cleaning works within the building. The supplier shall maintain a sufficient number of cleaners’ at all specific times to properly fulfil their obligations under this tender.The tenderer must have processes in place to ensure that the service provided to AHDB is of the highest standard at all times. All machinery (vacuum cleaners, floor buffers/polishers) and cleaning materials must be provided by the successful tender. The materials used must be the most cost effective ones available. AHDB is procuring for a single provider for their office and window cleaning requirements. The contract will include all cleaning tasks (core and optional requirements), and the provision of cleaning materials required to perform the duties. AHDB occupies a 2 storey office building on Stoneleigh Park with a total size of approximately 2,800 m2 and one stores building (only certain areas of this will require cleaning). The main building is split into two wings with a lobby off the rear staff entrance and a reception area off the main visitor front entrance. The ground floor comprises of a main reception area, with a boardroom and four large meeting rooms, plus small kitchen area. Each wing consists of 2 team rooms with 1 smaller meeting room, and individual study rooms. Floor plans for the ground and first floor of the office building are attached within the specification. Cleaning is required Monday – Friday, 52 weeks a year excluding public holidays. The contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of 12 months each, there will be a break clause after each year to assess supplier performance.
