Tender description

The council along with members of the London Libraries Consortium currently utilise a library management system provided by Axiell Ltd. The London Borough of Sutton are currently in the process of awarding a contract to replace the existing system on behalf of the consortium but this will not be awarded prior to the expiration of the existing contract. The group requires that the current system continues to be supported and maintained so that they can continue to provide library services. The London Borough of Sutton are currently in the process of awarding a contract to replace the existing system on behalf of the consortium but this will not be awarded prior to the expiration of the existing contract. The group requires that the current system continues to be supported and maintained so that they can continue to provide library services and it is the opinion of the group that this support and maintenance can only be provided by Axiell Ltd. Therefore to ensure that that there is no interruption of service, the London Borough of Havering, on behalf of the London Libraries Consortium intends to enter into a further agreement for the support and maintenance with Axiell Ltd until the new system is fully implemented. The council will not enter into contract for the support and maintenance before the end of a period of 10 days beginning with the day after the date on which this notice is published in the Official Journal.
