Tender description

The English name for the machine is 'Dissolution Tests USP4'. This machine is also called 'Flow Through System'. USP4 refers to the American pharmacopoeia (USP), method 4, where such a method is described. The machine shall be used to test how a solid medicine (e.g. tablet or granulate) releases the active ingredient over time. The Nurse and Health Science Faculty, subject group pharmacy at Nord University intends to procure dissolution tests USP 4 for use in the research and teaching laboratories at the Namsos study center. The instrument shall be delivered completed and, in the best possible manner, see to the requests and requirements stated in the tender documents. The offered instrument is expected to be of high quality and robust in operation. The Contracting Authority also requests tenders for training and a full-service agreement in the instruments’ operating time. The offered equipment shall have at least 2 years guarantee for all parts.
