Tender description
Dumfries and Galloway Integration Joint Board have a requirement for independent and collective advocacy services for vulnerable people who require help to have a stronger voice when using health and social care services and to have as much control as possible over their own lives. Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking tenders on behalf of Dumfries and Galloway Integration Joint Board (IJB)for the provision of Individual and Collective Advocacy Services for Adults. Dumfries and Galloway IJB requires individual and collective advocacy services that: — are independent and professional, — provide individual (one to one)advocacy that is issue focussed, and meet statutory requirements and Scottish Government Priorities. This covers such services under the following categories adult advocacy in terms of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003, and adult generic advocacy. The service includes individual advocacy and collective advocacy.
