Tender description

1.1. Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (“The Council”) requires contractual arrangements to provide for the treatment, recycling or recovery and final disposal of mixed street sweepings and gully emptying waste (“Contract Waste”) on a direct delivery arrangement. 1.2. The council requires arrangements that maximise the recycling or recovery of contract waste and reduces the disposal of untreated biodegradable waste to landfill. 1.3. The council requires the contractor to provide a guaranteed annual processing capacity of 3 000 tonnes per annum of contract waste (“the Guaranteed Minimum Annual Capacity”). 1.1.
