Tender description

The Authority sought tender submissions to appoint a contractor to deliver the supply and installation of new LED lighting in Liverpool. Stage 1 is to replace SOX and occasional SON street lighting luminaires with new LED luminaires on residential roads and some strategic distributor roads across the city over a 9 month implementation programme. The project will also include the replacement of life expired brackets, and the replacement of life expired 5 m to 10 m street lighting columns on those roads targeted as part of the project. Stage 2 is the delivery of a number of street lighting improvement schemes which will include the replacementof both existing columns (primarily concrete and tram pole type) and luminaires. These works will require anelement of design.
