Tender description

In Oxfordshire, the Council currently provides residential detoxification and rehabilitation by means of a Framework which expires on 30 April 2018. From 1 May 2018, the Council intends to replace the Framework with an Approved Provider List (APL). All Service Users will be Oxfordshire residents and eligible for treatment in accordance with the Council’s residential treatment eligibility criteria. The primary target groups are Service Users who:are aged 18 or over and have a complex drug and /or alcohol addiction. The APL will include service providers who can offer 1 or more of the following placement types: — Residential detoxification – a stand-alone treatment option prior to returning to Oxfordshire to continue community treatment/support or going on to another residential treatment provider. — Residential detoxification and stage one residential rehabilitation. — Stage 1 residential rehabilitation. — Stage 2 residential rehabilitation. The APL will include service providers who can offer one or more of the following placement types: — Residential detoxification – a stand-alone treatment option prior to returning to Oxfordshire to continue community treatment/support or going on to another residential treatment provider. — Residential detoxification and stage one residential rehabilitation. — Stage 1 residential rehabilitation. — Stage 2 residential rehabilitation. To ensure adequate choice of service is always available, the Council will seek to appoint at least two Service Providers for each of the following categories: — Mixed sex. — Male only. — Female Only. — Mixed sex – alcohol only. — Moderate mental health issues. — Moderate learning difficulties. — Physical disability (e.g. mobility problems). — Legal requirements (e.g. tag, drug testing, Drug Rehabilitation Requirements, Alcohol Treatment Requirements.
