Somerset County Council will be hosting a market engagement supplier event prior to the commencement of a procurement exercise with the intention to appoint a Management Operator for the iAero (Yeovil) Centre. The event will be an opportunity for suppliers to learn about the project, requirements, proposed operational model and the procurement process. The intended procurement exercise will be to appoint a supplier in the capacity of Management Operator for the iAero (Yeovil) Centre — to support research, collaboration, development and innovation in aerospace and associated high value design technologies. The Management Operator will be responsible for the provision of: — Facilities Management, — Operation of Centre, — Providing/Brokering business support services for Tenants and Users of the Centre. The Centre has been funded by Somerset County Council, ERDF and the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (HotSW LEP).
