Building construction work

Tender description

The Housing Department of Louth County Council wish to establish a multi-party framework agreement with suitably qualified and experienced building contractors for the provision of a variety of small to medium sized building works over the lifetime of the framework. The framework will be subdivided into 2 Lots, each with a different level of project spend. In the first Lot the building works will range from between 0 EUR and 60 000 EUR in value for each project. It is estimated that approximately 800 000 EUR value of works will be carried out using this Lot on an annual basis (this will be subject to funding). In the second Lot the building works will range from between 60 000 EUR and 800 000 EUR in value for each project. It is estimated that approximately 2 000 000 EUR value of works will be carried out using this Lot on an annual basis (this will be subject to funding). The framework will be subdivided into 2 Lots, each with a different level of project spend. In the first Lot the building works will range from between 0 EUR and 60 000 EUR in value for each project. It is estimated that approximately 800 000 EUR value of works will be carried out using this Lot on an annual basis (this will be subject to funding). The works may include but will not be limited to the following: — New Builds. — Refurbishment of compulsory purchased houses. — Extensions to local authority housing in Lieu of Re-housing. — Disabled persons adaption works. — Refurbishment of fire damaged and/or vacated local authority housing units (Voids). — Energy efficiency retrofitting works to local authority units. — Refurbishment of local authority Housing for re-letting. — Sundry building works to municipal buildings. The proposed framework is intended to commence in Q2 of 2018 and run for a 2 year timeframe with option to extend to a 3rd and 4th year. The extensions to the Framework will be at Louth County Council’s discretion, taking into consideration the success of the previous 2 years.
