Tender description

LHC is working with a number of social housing providers in the southwest and proposes to procure a Construction Framework for new build Housing. It is proposed to split the framework into a number of region lots based on the project size. The framework will be structured to encourage SME's to tender. We will be holding a series of supplier engagement Workshops across the South West in January 2018; 22 January, Bristol; 23 January, Yeovil; 24 January, Exeter; 25 January, Truro. *To attend 1 of the workshops please register on the following link http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4046503/LHC-Event-Registration. LHC is working with a number of housing providers in the Southwest to develop a Housing construction framework specifically for the South West. It is proposed to have to cover construction services (main contractor) and groundwork contractors. It is proposed that the framework will be split into 13 different lots across the South West for different project sizes with 1 being the aim to encourage smaller organisations to tender for the framework. The framework is proposed primarily for the construction of new houses. There will also be the option for contractors to offer apartments, sheltered accommodation, nursing homes, residential care and student accommodation under the framework. The framework will be open for use by any publically funded organisation including local authorities, Registered providers, Universities and charities a full list of organisations can be found via our website www.lhc.gov.uk/24.
