Summary of the work We need an animator to create social media animations and gifs to use on government social media channels and for paid digital advertising. They will need to work to short deadlines and on an ad hoc basis, providing support to the digital team when needed. Specialist role Designer Expected Contract Length 6 months Latest start date Monday 15 January 2018 Maximum Day Rate £250 Who Speclialist Work With The specialist will work with a videographer, digital comms managers and government comms teams. What Specialists Work On We need an animator (likely working in After Effects and the Creative Cloud suite) to create a series of animations for government social media accounts. Skills & Experience • have experience creating social media animations • be able to create animations in After Effects or a similar programme • be able to work at pace Nice to Haves • have worked with government or similar organisations before • be able to create other graphic design templates, not just animation Work Location Whitehall, London Working Arrangments On site 5 days a week with some out of hours working. Security Clearance Ideally SC. They do not need this clearance but if they don't have it they will need to sign an NDA agreement. Additional T&Cs We will need the appointee to sign an additional NDA agreement as well as the standard contract, as some of the material is potentially sensitive.
