Tender description

The Council is seeking a supplier who can pilot a flexible and innovative Travel Training Service that will train young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to independently travel to and from school, college, work and subsequently social events. The supplier will offer the young people and their families a safe way of travelling independently, that will build self-esteem and confidence, preparing young people for the transition into adulthood. The supplier will work with the young people to support them using all forms of public transport and where appropriate walking routes to/from school.
