Tender description

The Council wishes to contract with suitably qualified and experienced suppliers in the provision of technologically enhanced litter bins. The suppliers will be required to supply, maintain, and support the back office ICT infrastructure for the litter bins. The Council requires 2 types of bins to be provided: – Smart Bin 1, solar-powered, compacting litter bins that allow remote litter level detection, and, – Smart Bin 2, in-bin sensors that allow remote litter level detection. The opportunity is split into 3 contract lots: – Lot 1 (Smart Bin 1 Only), – Lot 2 (Smart Bin 2 Only), and, – Lot 3 (Smart Bin 1 & 2). The anticipated contract length for all Lots is 5 years.
