Warslow Moors Estate - Wader Protection Contract

The Warslow Moors Estate is located in a central part of the Leek Moors SSSI and is particularly valued for its population of breeding wader birds such as Curlew, Lapwing and Snipe. The Peak District National Park Authority is looking for a suitably qualified and discreet contractor to work closely with them to undertake a predator control contract as part of a nationally important upland management project. Tenders are invited for a predator control contract covering three seasons of 2018, 2019 and 2020. Applicants must be experienced, well equipped and dedicated in order to achieve the primary aim of increasing wader breeding success, using targeted and efficient predation control techniques. A working knowledge of the current (and changing) legal requirements and best practice methods for predator control are essential for this role
