Tender description

Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment work. Warwick District Council wishes to incorporate a fun climbing activity as part of the new facilities to be offered when the centre re-opens in spring 2018. The centre will be managed on the council’s behalf by Everyone Active. Accordingly, Warwick District Council is seeking to procure the following works to design, supply and install an indoor climbing facility at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre. Once installed the climbing facility will be operated and maintained by the council’s leisure operator, sports and Leisure Management Ltd (everyone active). The completed climbing facility should provide a high quality climbing experience for all ages and abilities. The contractor is also required to provide ongoing support, maintenance, servicing and training for the climbing facility. Tenders are invited for the supply, install and support a climbing wall within Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre in Royal Leamington Spa. The contract will commence on 15.1.2018. The contract shall be for 5 years with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years on a schedule of 2 + 2 + 1 years, at the agreement of all parties and provided that the council and everyone active are satisfied with the performance of the provider.
