The Gallery intends to install a technology-based people counting system to replace the current manual counting arrangements. This contract is for the supply, install and maintenance of the system. The system must provide an accuracy of at least 95 %. The method of counting must not interfere with free visitor flow into and out of the Gallery or at any point or points within it. The Gallery intends to install a technology-based people counting system to replace the current manual counting system. The system must provide an accuracy of at least 95 % at each entrance (5, with 13 doors) & in aggregate; this accuracy must apply to the number of visitors within the Gallery at any instant & the total number of visits over various periods. The method of counting must not interfere with free visitor flow into and out of the Gallery or at any point or points within it. Suppliers must demonstrate a track record of installing and configuring people counting systems in similar sites: — with similar numbers of visitors per door-set, — with entry doors opened by the visitors, with large lobbies past the entry point, — that periodically conduct bag searching in the lobby areas, — where entry is free, so visitors can move in any direction on entry, — where a counting accuracy level of 95 % at each door-set and overall has been achieved.
