The London Borough of Redbridge (“the Authority”) is seeking expressions of interest for the Provision of Second Hand Bike Markets at primary and secondary schools in the London Borough of Redbridge. The Second Hand Bike Markets shall give pupils, parents/carers and staff the opportunity to purchase a second hand, reconditioned bike at a lower cost than if they were to purchase a new bike. There would ideally also be an opportunity for pupils, parents/carers and staff to either donate their unwanted bike to the bike market or sell it at or to the bike market. The second hand bike market shall promote cycling to school. This exercise is intended to assess the level of interest from potential providers, to provide a Second Hand Bike Markets at primary and secondary schools in the London Borough of Redbridge.
