Tender description

This framework contract is to provide various departments within the Council and the Gateshead Housing Company with a printing and fulfilment service which will allow them to more efficiently print and send communications to their customers. The Council would like to secure the provision of an efficient and effective single supplier of a ‘mailing fulfilment service to the Council which manages data and print’. The purpose of this lot is to maximise postage discounts that may be available and manage the process in a professional manner that delivers maximum benefits to both the Council and its Customers. This would include, but not be limited to, daily and annual Council tax bills, business rates bills and housing benefit and council tax support notification letters. A supplier is sought to provide a printing service to Gateshead Council Policy, Transformation & Communications Service for the production of its residents’ magazine ‘GATESHEAD COUNCIL NEWS’ and various other publications as required. 1.1 The Gateshead Housing Company (TGHC) invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations for the provision of printing and fulfilment services. The purpose of this lot is to maximise postage discounts that may be available and manage the process in a professional manner that delivers maximum benefits to both TGHC and its customers. This would include, but not be limited to, quarterly and annual statements, customer newsletters (to be mailed together with statements), annual surveys, and daily individual letters sent via hybrid mail.
