Contract to meet the Council’s mini-bus and vehicle conversion requirements for the next 4 to 5 years. The contract will cover the conversion of vehicles which is to incorporate wheelchair access for between 5-12 seat minibus and people movers. This arrangement will also support various conversion requests from internal departments of HCC including Hampshire Schools. This contract will involve the free issue supply of Hampshire Transport owned vehicles to the converter for conversion dependent on the prevailing specification and requirement for that vehicle. On occasions the requirement may be for the Supplier to purchase and convert the vehicle, but ultimate ownership once delivery of the vehicle is taken will revert to Hampshire transport management.
