Tender description

This framework is for the supply of nebulisers with secure electronic data capture and data transfer capabilities for use across the UK and Northern Ireland. The nebulisers must be capable of capturing specific data fields relating to inhalation and of transferring these inhalation data to a custom-built digital platform, developed by the Authority. A major requirement of the Controlled Trial is that the nebuliser must be capable of delivering all the following licensed drugs, Tobramycin, colomycin, aztreonam, DNAse, Levofloxacin, hypertonic saline. There is only one supplier of nebulisers that are licensed to provide all these drugs in Cystic Fibrosis as no other devices other devices are licensed to deliver aztreonam and levofloxacin. This contract was awarded using a Negotiated Procedure without a call for competition. A VEAT notice was published on 24.2.2017.
