Led Cycle Rides

Tender description

North Somerset Council (NSC) would like to invite you to apply for Led Cycle Rides. If successful, you will join a pool of contractors which NSC can draw upon to organise and deliver informal led cycle rides in different locations around North Somerset on an occasional basis. NSC will draw upon the highest scoring bidder first then work down the list of approved suppliers depending on availability. The led ride scheme will be offered by NSC to specific groups which may include businesses, clubs and organisations and the number of planned attendees plus main details and a contact within the group will be provided in advance to ride leaders. Although predominantly aimed at beginner and/or intermediate riders the Led cycle rides are not intended to be instructional and will not be advertised as such. Attendees may include mixed abilities and ages however no children under 10 years and no unaccompanied children (under 16 years). Although NSC may be involved in some pre-planning details such as suggesting and communicating a meeting location and the group’s needs, the ride leader role will also involve some pre-planning, as well as talking responsibility on the day for co-ordinating logistics.
